Volta was another non Art Basel fair happening at the same time. Very interesting work, probably indeed the stronger among the ancillary fairs (Liste, Scope, etc).Loved the Murakami mockery installation here! And the wax on canvas by Jose Maria Cano - one great idea that went on for 10 years! He does painting with wax on canvas - with the latest in the series taking images from WSJ. He will do one painting every 2 weeks, and take the image (and a bit of text) that best reflect those 2 week's news/happenings. The dealer said the White House have called to buy this one made on Obama!!
