High Line Park, NY

Heard so much about it, great to see it in real. The park itself is nice but there's only a short section that's open (other still under construction?), so its not above expectation quite yet - perhaps read too much about it and had too high hopes going in?

But was very interesting to see the luxurious property developments sprouting up around it, and all the shops - Helmut Lang, DVK, etc. Also get to go to the Chelsea Market - where I did my gluttony round with fresh oyster for bfast and crab claw salad and lobster wrap for lunch! But later, when at JFK, I read online about the oil spill and how much it has affected the oyster farming industry...immediately felt not well after reading that news...

i love the High Line Park too. A lot of tourists but isn't that the case for most of NYC?
