Snow storm in China
Breaks my heart to see what's happening across China. Factory workers are such a pillar of the economic success of the country, and for 300+days a year, they are away from home, and only for a week, they go back home to see their family that they work so hard to earn money for. Just saw that in one of the worst hit towns, Bin-Chou, all karaokes and massage parlors are booked out -- as hotel rooms since they still have electricity and water supply. Hotels are all sold out, at 3x the usual prices. Many have not taken baths for 3 weeks by now. Overall casuality reporting is surprisingly low -- probably a case of understatement by the authority. And that casualities that happen in inner China probably didnt even make their way out of the snow-trapped regions
