Art journal #3 Forest Project, BJ

(Oct 23, 2008) Bought a few of the kid's drawing in Forest Project. So nice! Touching to see it all over again, in real life. Xu Bing definitely one of my favorite artists –his intellectual bend and social sensibility is rare among Chinese artists today. Heard that he might be "rolling out" the project to New Orleans where a lot of the forestation was damaged due to the prolonged flooding; Xu Bing is becoming the new environment renaissance man!
