Brunch in London

The Providores & Tapa Room in Marylebone High St is a charming little place. And traveling singletons like myself just love it when there's no reservation allowed! I queued for 5mins in the rain (worried it might be half an hour before I got seated) but the waiter came to my rescue and showed me to a single seat by the window - the rare benefit of being a party of one - no queuing!

It has probably the most exciting bfast menu I have seen for a long time (exception perhaps is the Met Hotel in Bangkok?); so I had a really tough time choosing - well, but here's also the downside of eating by oneself - you can't over-order and share! The grilled sardines buschetta I chose in the end was great, accompanied by the Sunday Telegraph weekend section to give a perfect Sunday morning start.
