HK Legislative Council Complex

The Rocco designed building is...well, its Rocco. Its a good attempt to have a patch of grass in a public park, but how that has smitten us goes to show how dire the situation is in HK - that we dont even get a normal park, with trees and grass (not concrete ground) in our suffocating city.

The LegCo Chamber does look uncannily like the People's Hall in BJ, with its high ceiling, circular lights, and all that. It seats 60 now, with capacity for 120 - prepared more LegCo members (democratically elected?) in future? The gong in the waiting room is interesting - image all the 'deals' striken here by LegCo members! Interesting to see one of the central of political powers in town.
