Just visited Calvin’s new Singapore restaurant. Fantastic space! It is so big that it is almost unreal. Classic Calvin aesthetic (think Water Margin, Hutong, etc), this time housed in Collier Pier which is, well, an old pier. Amazing view of the bay, opposite the rising Sands casino on the other side that is supposed to be completed by end of 2009. Fullerton Two construction going on right next to the Collier Pier where OOTB is located. Now a bit “standing on its own” and cut off from the traditional night spots, but will be popular and crowded very soon, no doubt, once its neighbors move in!
