So I finally get to go to Vitamin! The walk-through the buzzling market is an experience of its own. Vitamin took up an commercial space above an Internet Bar and between residential blocks behind the busy market. Get to meet Pak, and see his exhibition (his first solo - save for the NY Library one!!). Loved his ideas, and his alternative perspectives on the world. Very nice chap. Intrigued by the "half moons", and the documentary on blind-folded trip to Malaysia. Sat in on Hu Fang's exchange with Pak, which was attended by quite a large turnout of local artists, curators and (probably art) students. Getting up at 730am is not easy, but glad I went!
