Freefall

I cant sleep. The economy is in free fall. Well, more precisely, the stock markets. Dow broke 7000, then 6800, then ...well. There's no support. Now's 6535. Hang Seng in HK broke 12000 today. Dow is off 25% this year. Investing with conviction is tough. Greed and fear is amplified in markets like this. You think you got it right, you go for it, and the market proved you wrong. You dont budged, the market moved a bit more. Until you break. Citibank hovering at $1. $1!!!!!!! A year ago it was in the 20s?! It broke the buck yday. Goldman at $75. Morgan at $17. I feel like I am Sigourney Weaver in the movie Alien. Do you remember the scene? She was either writing in her diary or typing in the PC or sth like that. Reporting how many of her comrades were dead. I am doing that now. Reporting casuality. Financial casualities.
