Art journal #108: Saatchi Gallery

It was a 'total loss' save for a few pieces. Granted, 'Newspeak' is meant to showcase new British artists, but that doesnt mean you dont put any effort into curating the show, or picking good works.

The only works that were remotely interesting were Steve Bishop's goat 'Dior, J'dore', Tessa Farmer's mosquito army in a box, Charisse diArchimoles' pictures of herself 10+ years apart in same setting. Ximena Garrido Lecca's 'Followers', which is a kitchy Peruian burial wall, is my fav, and is the only work that's fill up the space properly in all sense of the word.

If Saatchi Gallery does shows like this, its honestly not worth another visit.
