Reactions to "Tree of Life"

I shall reserve my comments on the movie, given there were so many great critics before me that have written on this much talked about movie. The cast (Brad Pitt, Sean Penn), the director (Terence Malick, whos been directing for 40 years but this is only his fifth feature length movie), and the Palm d'Or all add to the aura and the mystique around the project.

I had fully expected wide range of audience reaction in HK, and some (many?!) to hate the movie. But it's just hilarious to see comments on this site. Cant help but to post.

Just read about Francois Truffault's quote, he apparently said "everyone has two jobs in the world. First is his current one, second is being a film critic". Indeed, indeed.
