It was one of the more interesting shows we've had recently! One where the limit of the space becomes its charm. Romanian artist Dan Perjovschi was sharp and has a wicked sense of humor. In just a few days of observing HK, he came up with images of verticality, cramped buildings, Chn tourists vs. BJ tanks, buzzing Kln bird/fish markets, and a city that is digitally-obsessed. All quintessentially HK. Its ironic, sometimes I felt it really takes a "foreigner" for us to see own city with clarity? Same for OMA's WKCD design, I'd say (and the public agrees recently in a poll).
